Introduction

The Lettings Application Tab allows you to view and manage all application records associated with a lettings property. This tab helps agents track the lettings journey from offer through to completion, ensuring all key information is stored in one place.

Accessing Lettings Application Tab

To access lettings property's lettings application tab, navigate to Lettings > Properties > select a property and enter its detail page by clicking on its address. NOW you can see the lettings application tab at the top.

To add a letting application, use the "+" sign in the top-right corner or the "Add Lettings Application" button in the empty state.

All agents who can access the property page are able to add a Lettings Application.

Adding a Lettings Application

When you click Add Lettings Application, a form opens with key details pre-filled to save time.

• Associated Property – always taken from the property and cannot be edited

• Landlord – filled in when available and can be updated

• Owner – set to the property’s negotiator, but can be changed

You can also click on Details View to fill in more details about this application. Once completed, the new Lettings Application appears in the list within this tab.

Viewing the Lettings Application List

All Lettings Application linked to the property are displayed here, listed newest first.

Each entry includes information such as:

• Monthly Rent

  • This is the rent recorded in the Lettings Application

• Application ID

• Current Stage

• Owner

• Date Created

• Expected Completion Date (shown when the application is still open)

• Completion Date (shown when the application has been closed)

• Task progress

If an application was created from an offer (including from the Offers tab), it will also appear here.

To view a Lettings Application detail page, click the lettings application:

• If you do not have permission, the lettings application is not clickable

Relationship Between Offers, Contacts, and Lettings Applications

Lettings Applications may come from several different actions in the system. Below is a simple overview of how they appear across pages:

From Offers

A Lettings Applications can be created directly from:

• The Offer section on a Contact Searches Tab

• The Offer tab on a property

Any Lettings Application created from an offer will appear:

• In the property’s Lettings Application tab

• In the associated contact’s Deals tab

From a Contact

If an application is created from a contact’s Deals tab, it will also appear:

• In the associated property’s Lettings Applications tab
