Introduction
The Contact Detail Page is one of the most important pages in LoftyWorks. It is where all information about a contact is stored, viewed, and managed in one place.
A contact can represent anyone you work with, such as a tenant, landlord, buyer, vendor, or contractor.
The Contact Detail Page gives you a complete view of their details, communication history, related properties, documents, and activity. Access and editing depend on your user permissions.

Accessing a Contact Detail Page
Via the Contacts Page
Go to the CRM > Contacts page
Use contact type tabs or filters to find the contact
Click the contact’s name
You will be taken directly to their Contact Detail Page.
Via the Search Bar
You can also use the search bar at top to find a contact by:
Name
Email
Phone number
Property
Note
Click the contact’s name in the results to open their detail page.
Contact Detail Page Overview
The Contact Detail Page is divided into three main areas:
Left Panel – Header Information
Contact Name & Type
At the top-left of the page, you’ll see:
The contact’s name

One or more contact roles, such as:
Buyer
Vendor
Tenant
Landlord
Contractor
Other
Segment
Edit Details, Send Welcome Email, Delete Contact
Using the ... options menu, you can:

Edit contact details (name, phone, email, address)
- You can add a maximum of five email addresses to a contact
- You can add a maximum of five phone numbers to a contact
Delete the contact (subject to permissions)
Send Welcome Email. For more information regarding the Welcome Email, see Set Up the Welcome Email.(link)
Change Segment(s)
- A contact can belong to as many segments as you would like
- Keep in mind that adding a contact to a new segment could trigger a Smart Plan if that is how you have them set up (see Smart Plans)
Call, Text, and Email
*IMPORTANT: You will need the Dialler Package to use the "Call" feature and a Text Package to use the "Text" Feature. For more information please see Add Call or Text Packages.(link)
Call
Calling via the contact profile would fit into the category of "Click to Call" functionality. You can learn more about how this process works by reviewing the following article: "Click to Call" Function. Click on the "Call" button, or you can choose the drop-down to choose a specific number to dial:
Text
To text via a contact profile, hit the "Text" button or click the drop-down to choose the number you want to send a text to. To learn more about sending texts in LoftyWorks, refer to Texting via LoftyWorks.
Click on the "Email" button to send an email to this contact.
- By default, the email will be sent from your integrated email address.
- If you see a pop-up appear that says you need to connect your email account, but you do not plan on doing so, you can close out of the pop-up and click the "Email" button again to send the email from the @loftyworks.me email address.
Left Panel - Details and Assigned to
Details
The Details section contains core information about the contact, including:
You can edit these details by clicking the Edit icon at top right.
You can also add more phone numbers or email addresses to a contact by clicking on the + icon that appears when you hover over an existing one:
Social Network Info
This field is auto-generated based on a third-party source integrated with LoftyWorks. This service will attempt to populate social media profiles for the contact's email address, etc. If none populate, it might be due to privacy settings on that social platform.
You can always add social network info manually by clicking on the Edit icon.
Assigned to
The Assigned to section displays who is assigned to the contact, you can change the agent with the down arrow icon at right side.
Quick Switcher
The Quick Switcher, located in the bottom-left corner of the page, allows you to quickly navigate to the previous, next, or any contact’s detail page. Selecting Back to List at the bottom of the switcher also returns you to the Contacts List page.
Tabs on the Contact Detail Page
Below the main information about a contact is organised into tabs so you can easily know about the contact.
Overview
The Overview tab includes three major areas:
Notes
Timeline
Tasks and Appointments

Properties
The Properties tab displays properties associated with the contact. From here, you can view property details or add new properties (+ icon at top-right) linked to the contact.

The Searches tab records buyer or tenant preferences, including:
Preference Profiles (location, price range...)

Deals
The Deals tab displays Sales Progression or Lettings Application associated with the contact.
