Tip: In this guide, "you" refers to the consumer using the portal. This helps you understand exactly what your clients see and do during their journey.
Introduction
If your company has more than one contractor working under it, the Members section of the Contractor Portal lets you see everyone on your team in one place. Depending on your role within the company, you may also be able to invite new members, update their details, or remove their portal access.

Who can see the Members section?
The Members section is available to contractors who are linked to a Contractor Company in LoftyWorks. All members of the same company can view the list — but only the Primary Contractor can make changes.
There are three roles you may encounter:
Primary Contractor — the main contractor designated for the company in LoftyWorks. The Primary Contractor has full access to invite, edit, and remove members.
Member — a regular contractor belonging to the same company. Members can view the list but cannot edit it.
Pending — a contractor who has been invited but has not yet completed their portal registration. They will appear in the list but cannot access the portal until they've signed up.
What's in the Members list?
The Members list shows all contractors linked to your company. For each person, you'll see:
Name – their full name. The Primary Contractor is marked with a "Primary" badge.
Work Orders – the number of work orders currently assigned to them.
Phone – their contact number.
Email – their email address.
Status – either Active (registered and able to log in) or Pending (invitation sent but not yet accepted).
The list is sorted alphabetically by name by default. You can search by name or email to find a specific member.
Inviting a new member
Any contractor in the portal can invite someone new to join their company's team. To do so:
Go to the Members section.
Click Invite Member.
Enter the person's name and email address (phone number is optional).
Click Send.
The invited person will receive an email with a link to register for the Contractor Portal. Once they complete registration, they'll automatically be linked to your company and their status in the Members list will change from Pending to Active.
Note: If the invite email doesn't arrive, ask them to check their junk or spam folder.
Editing a member's details
Only the Primary Contractor can edit member details. To update someone's name or phone number:
Find the member in the list.
Click the Edit action on their row.
Update their name or phone number as needed.
Save your changes.
Any updates made here will also be reflected in your agent's LoftyWorks system.
Email addresses cannot be changed from within the portal. If an email address needs updating, contact your agent.
Removing a member
Only the Primary Contractor can remove a member. To do so:
Find the member in the list.
Click the Delete action on their row.
Confirm the removal when prompted.
Removing a member revokes their access to the Contractor Portal. Their record in LoftyWorks is not deleted — only their portal access is deactivated. This action cannot be undone from within the portal, so take care before proceeding.
The Primary Contractor cannot remove themselves from the members list.
