Introduction

The Preference Profile section can be found in Contact Searches Tab. Preference Profile allows you to create and manage buyer or tenant search preferences for a contact, with optional property alerts. There are four steps to add a preference profile:

Step 1 

Click Add Profile at top-right corner of Preference Profile section and select one of the following options from the dropdown:

• Buyer Profile

• Tenant Profile

Selecting either option opens the Add Profile page. (You can also edit the preference profile here.)

Step 2

On the Add Profile page, you can see all the available filters on the right side. The results will be updated instantly when these fields are changed. You can find the number of results from the applied filter at the top of the page. The more criteria you select, the fewer results you will receive.

Step 3

To select a specific area on the map to be used in search criteria, click on the "Draw" icon in the top-right corner of the map. If you need to plot multiple areas, you will need to create a separate profile for each area.

Drag and click to mark the area you want. End on the same dot you started with. If you want to remove this filter, click the "Clear" icon in the top-right corner of the map.

*IMPORTANT:

Please note that when adding search criteria, the more filters you apply, the fewer results you will receive. However, it is the opposite case when it comes to the Location filters. You can enter multiple locations. The more locations and postcodes you enter, the more results you will receive.

The Results tab is updated in real time and displays properties that match the criteria set in the Filters tab. You can select all properties or choose specific ones from the results and send them to the contact. You can only send up to 20 properties at a time.

 

Step 4 

Click Save to create the preference profile.
