Introduction
Property Alerts allow you to automatically notify contacts when new properties or updates match their preference profiles. Alerts are optional and are configured based on a contact’s buyer or tenant profile, with flexible frequency settings. This article explains how property alerts work, how to enable or disable them, and how alerts are managed within Automation.

How Property Alerts Work
Property Alerts are triggered based on a contact’s Preference Profile. When a property is created or updated and matches the criteria defined in the profile—such as location, price, property type or size—the system checks whether an alert is enabled.
If an alert is active, notifications are sent according to the selected frequency (for example, immediately, daily or weekly). Alerts only notify contacts of properties that meet the current profile criteria. Any changes made to the preference profile will automatically affect which properties trigger future alerts.
How to Enable or Disable Property Alerts
You can enable or disable Property Alerts either by selecting the Property Alert checkbox at the bottom of the profile:
or by using the Property Alert toggle in the Preference Profile section of the Searches tab:
Enabling Property Alerts will always open the Property Alert Settings dialog.
A summary of the filters for this property alert is located on the left side.
- Next, you can choose to name this property alert. Alerts with no name will display a name based on the "Location" filed.
- Customise alert email subject with provided variables and choose to whom the property alert emails will be sent. Also, you can adjust email sending frequency to Daily, Instantly, Weekly, Biweekly or Monthly.
- Decide on the time at which you would like to send out the emails.

Choose from the options (not required):
- Handpick properties: You will be notified by email when new properties that fit the criteria enter the market. Properties will NOT be sent to the contact without your approval.
- Send a copy to myself: This will cc you on the alert email, and you will receive a copy in your inbox.
- Send alert immediately
- Use properties on the market as supplement: If no new properties that fit the criteria come to the market, properties on the market will be sent instead.
When the rest of the settings are set up, click on the blue "Save" button in the bottom-right to save the alert and turn it on:
To disable an alert:
Turn off the Property Alert toggle on the preference profile.
The alert will be removed and no further notifications will be sent.
NOTE:
Deleting a preference profile will also delete its associated property alert.

Q: How do you batch property alerts or mass send property alerts?
A: The ability to mass or batch-send property alerts is not currently supported.
