The People tab in Sales Progression shows everyone involved in a property sale, all in one place. This includes buyers, vendors, agents, and any contractors supporting the progression. It helps you clearly understand who is involved, what their role is, and how they relate to the sale.
Navigate to Sales > Sales Progression and enter sales progression detail page by clicking property address, now the People tab is on left sidebar.

Who Appears in People Automatically
When a Sales Progression is created, the system automatically adds key participants so you don’t have to start from scratch.
Contacts (Buyers and Vendors)
All buyers and vendors linked to the sale are automatically added to People. The first buyer and first vendor are marked as the Main Contact, indicated by an icon next to their name:
If there is only one buyer or one vendor, they are automatically set as the Main Contact.
Agents
If the property linked to the sale has a Negotiator or Second Negotiator, and they are not the owner, they are also added to People automatically. Their role is clearly labelled so everyone can see their involvement.
Changes made later to the property’s negotiators do not affect existing Sales Progression records.
Understanding the People List
Each person in the list shows:
Name (contractors also show their company name, if applicable)
Role within the Sales Progression (non-main contact roles can be changed using the dropdown)
Phone and Email (shown as “--” if unavailable)
Actions: Call, Text, Email, Delete and Send Client Portal Invitation.
Multiple people can share the same role if needed.
Adding / Deleting People
Adding People
Clicking Add People at top right corner opens a search panel where you can find existing people across your company, including contacts, agents, contractors, and contractor companies. You can search by name or email and select multiple people at once.
If no matching results are found, you can add a new Contact, Contractor, or Contractor Company directly from this place.
After selecting people, you'll be asked to choose what role they are acting for in this sales progression. This step is required and supports multiple role selections.
Deleting People
Some safeguards are in place:
The Main Contact cannot be deleted.
You must always keep at least one buyer and one vendor.
Other roles can be removed freely.
Keeping People in Sync
The People list and the Sales Progression details stay aligned:
Adding or editing a buyer or vendor in People updates the Sales Progression details.
Editing buyers or vendors in the Sales Progression updates People.
Removing a buyer or vendor from People removes them from the Sales Progression, and vice versa.

Changing who is marked as the Main Contact updates the display order everywhere.
This ensures the information is always consistent.
