Introduction
This article explains how to create, view, edit, and delete offers in LoftyWorks Sales. It also outlines how to select buyers and solicitors, upload supporting documents, manage offer conditions and dates, and handle scenarios where a buyer submits multiple offers.
Summary
Add an Offer
You can add an offer from property's offers tab by navigating to either:

Sales > Offers > click on a specific property address and jump to the property's offers tab:
Or Sales > Properties > click on a specific property address and jump to the property's offers tab:
When you click Add Offer(+), LoftyWorks checks your permission. If permitted, you’re taken to the Add Offer page.
Buyer Information
Buyers (Required, Multi-Select)
Select one or more buyers from your existing Contacts.
If the selected contact does not already have the Buyer type, LoftyWorks adds it after offer creation.
If the buyer isn’t listed:
Click Add New Buyer to create a new Contact.
The new Contact is automatically assigned type: Buyer.
Buyer’s Solicitor (Optional, Single-Select)
Select a solicitor from your Contractor list.
If the selected solicitor doesn’t already have type: Solicitor, LoftyWorks adds it after offer creation.
If the solicitor isn’t listed:
Click Add Solicitor to create a new solicitor.
Offer Details
These fields capture the key terms of the buyer’s offer.
Offer Amount (Required)
Enter the buyer’s offered purchase price (whole number).
Mortgage Status (Optional)
If Cash Buyer is selected, the following Deposit Percentage field is hidden.
Deposit Percentage (Optional)
Percentage value of the buyer’s proposed deposit.
Expected Completion Date (Optional)
If filled, this value is carried automatically into the Sales Progression record created from this offer.
Offer Conditions (Optional)
Offer Expiry Date (Optional)
Must be today or a future date.
Supporting Documents
You may upload documents related to the offer.
Click Upload to open the file picker.
Uploaded documents can be previewed or deleted.
These documents also appear in the property’s Documents tab.
When a Buyer Has Previously Submitted Offers
If this buyer has already submitted one or more offers for this property, LoftyWorks shows a popup after clicking Add Offer:
After submitting:
Older pending/accepted offers move to Withdrawn.
The new offer becomes the buyer’s active offer.
When the offer is created: It appears as a new Offer Row under the property and its initial status is Pending.
View an Offer
On the property’s Offers tab:
Click View in the “Actions” column for any offer row. Only users with view permissions can access the View Offers page.
Multiple Offers from the Same Buyer
If the buyer submitted more than one offer on this property:
Tabs at the top allow you to switch between all their offers.
The latest submitted offer appears in the first tab.
Document Handling
When viewing an offer: Documents can be previewed and downloaded.
Edit an Offer
You may edit:
Only the most recently submitted offer from that buyer on this property.
Older offers are read-only and cannot be edited.
How to edit:
Go to View Offer.
On the latest offer tab, click Edit (if you have permission).
The Edit Offer page contains exactly the same fields as Add Offer.
Delete an Offer
On the property’s Offers tab, under “Actions”:
Click Delete to remove an offer
When deleted, the offer is permanently removed
Permissions Summary
A user may add, edit, delete, or view offers if they are the property’s Negotiator or Second Negotiator, or if their role has been granted the Offer View permission (view only) or the Offer Management & Link Sales Progression permission (full control). If these criteria are not met, offers will either be read-only or hidden altogether.
