Introduction
Permission profiles are a scalable and precise way to set permissions for specific roles and situations. Build your permission profiles and assign your agents to set their access level.
Summary
Editing / Deleting Permission Profiles
To access permission settings, navigate to Settings > Permission Profiles:
To edit or delete a permission profile, use the edit or delete icons in the rightmost column:
Configuring Permissions
You will notice there are four built-in permission profiles. Some of the individual permissions for these built-in profiles are locked and greyed out (meaning they cannot be changed). Others, however, can be toggled on/off depending on business needs
.
- Company Owner (Hidden). This role will not display because only the account owner can have this permission.
- Company Admin. Users with this profile will have the same permissions as the Company Owner. They will have all the company-level permissions.
- Sales Agent.
- Property Manager.
General Management
This section grants permissions to manage users, company settings, and profile configurations
- User. This permission allows the user to manage the users on the account. "Can set email sending domain" can be selected or deselected as needed.
- My Company. This setting grants access to Organisation - My Company section, allowing users to manage the company's organisational information.
- Permission. This permission allows the user to manage the account's permission profile settings.
- Edit Profile. This permission gives users access to edit their own profiles' photos and LoftyWorks login accounts.
System Configuration
This permission allows the user to add, edit, or delete Company Sources and Segments, as well as creating and managing Custom Fields and setting Reporting Goals.
- Contact Sources. This permission allows the user to edit the source on the Contact Page, which is visible to all users on the account.
- Segments. This permission allows the user to create and edit the segments.
- Contact Custom Fields. This permission allows the user to create and edit custom fields in contact detail pages. Changes made here will apply to the entire account.
- Progression Custom Fields. This permission allows the user to create and edit progression custom fields used in sales progression and lettings application pages. Changes made here will apply to the entire account.

Manage Goals. This permission allows the user to manage business and activity goals. "Entire Company" allows the user to manage the goal at the company level. Users with "Personal Only" permission can manage their individual goals.

Company Templates. This permission allows the user to create and edit shared email and text templates, Smart Plans, checklist template and document template.
CRM Management
This permission allows the user to manage contacts, including the following: Manage contact Distribution, Access All Company contacts, Delete contacts, Export contacts, and Change contact Source.
- Contact Routing Rule Management. This permission allows the user to manage contact routing rules and reassignment rules across the company.
- Contact Capture Management. This permission allows the user to manage all contact capture channels across the company.

Change Contact Source: This permission allows the user to change a contact's source.

Contractor and Contractor Company Management
- Edit Contractor and Contractor Company. This permission allows the user to edit all Contractor and Contractor Company pages across the company.
- Delete Contractor and Contractor Company. This permission allows the user to delete any Contractor or Contractor Company record across the company.
Sales Management
The section grants permission to manage Properties, Viewings, Offers, Keys, and Sales Progressions within the Sales module.
- Property Management. This permission allows the user to edit and delete all sales property detail pages across the company.
- View Offers. This permission allows the user to view all offers for sales properties across the company, including details and history, without permission to edit, delete, or create sales progressions.
- Offer Management & Link Sales Progression. This permission allows the user to create, edit, and delete any offer for sales properties across the company, and create or link a sales progression from any offer (subject to offer status restrictions).
- Key Management. This permission allows the user to edit, check out/check in keys, and view detailed key logs for sales properties across the company.

Export Sales Progressions. This permission allows the user to export sales progressions:
- Visible by User
- Owned Only

Delete Sales Progressions. This permission allows the user to delete sales progressions:
- Delete only sales progressions users own
- Delete sales progressions where users are added in or as an owner (Default)
- Delete any sales progression in the company
- Cannot delete any sales progressions
- Access Sales Progression Accounting Page. This permission allows the user to access the sales progression accounting section and see accounting related fields in the sales progression.
Lettings Management
This section grants permission to manage Properties, Viewings, Offers, Keys, Lettings Applications, Tenancies, and Maintenance within the Lettings module.
- Property Management. This permission allows the user to edit and delete all To Let property detail pages across the company.
- View Offers. This permission allows the user to view all offers for To Let properties across the company, including details and history, without permission to edit, delete, or create lettings application.
- Offer Management & Link Lettings Application. This permission allows the user to create, edit, and delete any offer for To Let across the company, and create or link a lettings application from any offer (subject to offer status restrictions).
- Key Management. This permission allows the user to edit, check out/check in keys, and view detailed key logs for To Let properties across the company.

- Visible by User
- Owned Only

Delete Lettings Application. This permission allows the user to delete lettings applications:
- Delete only letting application users own
- Delete letting application where users are added in or as an owner
- Delete any letting application in the company
- Cannot delete any letting application
- Access Lettings Application Accounting Page. This permission allows the user to access the lettings applications commission section and see accounting related fields in the lettings application.

Delete Tenancy. This permission allows the user to edit draft tenancies for To Let properties across the company.

- Edit Maintenance. This permission allows the user to edit any work orders for To Let properties across the company.
Accounting Management
- Accounting Settings Management: Grants permission to manage Branding, Finance, Team, and other settings within the Accounting Settings module.

Bank Account Management: Grants permission to manage and reconcile bank accounts and view bank information.
- Bank Account Reconfirmation: Grants permission to reconfirm GoCardless requisitions for bank accounts.
- Bank Details Management: Grants permission to add and edit bank account details.
- Bank Access (Read): Grants permission to view and read bank account information.
- Bank Reconciliation: Grants permission to reconcile bank transactions and balances.
- Bank Statement Management: Grants permission to add and edit bank statements.

Deposit Management: Grants permission to manage deposits within the accounting module.
- Put Deposits in Scheme: Grants permission to put deposits into an approved scheme.
- Return Deposits: Grants permission to return deposits.
- Read Deposit Management: Grants permission to view deposit records.
- Create and Edit Deposits: Grants permission to create and edit deposits.
- Charge Management: Grants permission to view, create, and edit charges.

Credit Notes Management: Grants permission to view, create, and edit credit notes.
- Read Credit Notes: Grants permission to view credit notes.
- Write Credit Notes: Grants permission to create and edit credit notes.
- Invoice Management: Grants permission to view, create, and edit invoices.

Payout Management: Manages payout approvals, payment history, and payout/payment operations.
- Standard Payout Operations: Grants permission to view payment history, manage payout payments, create payouts, and approve or reject payouts below 50k.
- Senior Payout Approval: Grants permission to approve payouts above 50k.
- Approvals Management: Grants permission to read approvals.
- Arrears Management: Grants permission to add notes and trigger template emails for arrears.
- Ledger Balances Management: Grants permission to create and edit ledger balances.
- Manual Journal Entry: Grants permission to create manual journal entries.
- Revert Tenant Charges: Grants permission to revert tenant charges.

Suspense Transactions Management: Manages suspense transactions, including viewing, creating, and editing entries.
- Read Suspense Transactions: Grants permission to view suspense transactions.
- Write Suspense Transactions: Grants permission to allocate suspended transactions to the target ledger.
