Introduction
One of the key reasons for using LoftyWorks CRM is to stay in regular contact with your database. Mass Emails and Mass Texts allow you to communicate efficiently with multiple contacts at once, helping you share updates, promote properties, or follow up at scale.

There are several limitations to be aware of when sending mass communications. These are outlined below.
Mass Email Limitations
Contacts Without Email Addresses
Contacts must have a valid email address to receive mass emails. Any email address marked as invalid will be excluded automatically, and the system will indicate how many contacts cannot be emailed.
Unsubscribed Contacts
Contacts who have unsubscribed from email communications cannot be included in mass email sends.
Maximum Number of Email Recipients
You can send a mass email to a maximum of 5,000 contacts at one time.
Please note, for all packages with a monthly email limit, it costs £1 for 5,000 additional emails.
Mass Text Limitations
Contacts Without Valid Phone Numbers
Contacts must have a valid phone number to receive text messages. Numbers marked as invalid will be excluded, and the system will indicate how many contacts cannot be texted.
Maximum Number of Text Recipients
A maximum of 500 contacts can be processed per mass text send.
If more than 500 contacts with valid phone numbers are selected, a warning message will appear:
“You can only Mass Text 500 contacts at a time”.
Mass Emails
*Note: Mass emails are sent from your @loftyworks.me email address.
To send a mass email, navigate to the Contacts page, select the contacts that you want to email, and then click on the Mass Email button:
After choosing the Mass Email option, you can edit the email before sending it. It will be sent as an individual conversation to every contact, not a mass email with everyone copied. You will want to take advantage of any templates that you have pre-built, as well as variables that can be used to reference a specific contact's name, etc.
To edit a scheduled mass email, click the bell icon in the top right corner.
Click the pencil icon to make the changes.
Mass Texts
To send a mass text to your contacts, simply navigate to the contacts page, select the contacts you would like to mass-text, and then click the Mass Text button.
The mass text message will be sent as individual conversations. You can use saved text templates to personalise messages and save time.
*Important note*
Sending identical text messages to a large number of contacts at the same time may reduce delivery rates or cause carrier blocking.
To minimise this risk, LoftyWorks automatically adds a timestamp to each message to ensure content variation.
Smart Plans
Another important tool is Smart Plans. Smart Plans are used to automatically send out content.
For example, you can set up a Smart Plan and then adjust the Application Conditions to target the specific contacts that you want to send a mass email or text message.
