Introduction
This article outlines seven key management actions available to help you manage property keys efficiently. All of these actions can be accessed from the Keys tab on the Property Detail Page.

Creating Key Set

On Key tab of a property, click on the "+" icon at the top right of keys list.
and complete the following fields:
Keys Photo (optional)
- Description (optional)
Storage Location
-
Curren Holder
- In System Contact (you can select agent or contact)
Manual Entry
-
Total Keys
Click Confirm
The new key will then appear under the Keys List on key tab.
Checking Out a Key
Available when the key is in Available or Damaged status.
Steps:
Click Check Out on the key card

Complete following fields:

Check Out Of
- In System Contact (you can select agent or contact)
Manual Entry
- Reason for check out
- Expected Return Date
- Note

3. Click on Check Out
Checking In a Key
Only available when a key is in Checked Out status.
Steps:
Click Check Out on the key card

Complete following fields:

Return By
- In System Contact (you can select agent or contact)
Manual Entry
- Return Date
- Current Holder
- Note

3. Click on Check in
The key returns to Available status.
Reporting a Key Lost
Available under:
Available
Checked Out
Damaged
Steps:
Click More → Report Lost

Complete following fields:

Lost By
- In System Contact (you can select agent or contact)
Manual Entry
- Lost Date
- Lost Reason

Status becomes Lost, and corresponding buttons adjust automatically.
Reporting a Key Damaged
Available under:
Available
Checked Out
Steps:
Click More → Report Damage

Complete following fields:

Damaged By
- In System Contact (you can select agent or contact)
Manual Entry
- Storage Location
- Current Holder
- Damaged Reason

Status becomes Damaged.
Archiving a Key
Available under all statuses except Archived.
Steps:
Click More → Archive
2. Click on Archive, Success toast appears: “Key Set is archived.”
Archived keys remain under the property but do not appear as active.
Unarchiving a Key
Only available under Archived.
Steps:
Click Unarchive
2. Click on Unarchive, Success toast appears: "Key Set Unarchived Successfully."
The key returns to Available status.
