From pinning important discussions to reassigning conversations, discover how these functionalities can elevate your communication workflow.
Summary
Communication Tab Walkthrough
The Communication tab houses many features that will help you manage your conversations and convert them into tasks that can be delegated across the team. We will walk through each feature below.
- New Thread - Click this button to start a new thread. You can choose between Internal, Landlord or Tenant, WhatsApp, SMS, or Email conversations.
- Rename Thread - Click this button to rename an existing thread.
- Resolve Thread - Click this button to mark a thread as resolved. This is helpful when using the shared inbox so members of your company can see what has already been addressed.
- Add People - Add members of your internal teams to the conversation thread for visibility or task management.
- Collapse Sidebar - Click this button to expand or collapse the toolbar.
- Assigned To - Use this button to assign a Property Manager to the conversation thread.
- Links - Use this button to link the conversation thread to a Property, Parent Property, or Task.
- Internal Notes - Use this area to add an internal note about the thread.
Filters
In order to better manage your inbox, LoftyWorks has implemented filters. Filters can be applied to personal or shared inboxes.
Thread Actions
Mouse over the individual thread to expose the Thread Actions in the three horizontal lines. Here, you can pin a message to the top, mark it as unread, tag the message, turn off notifications for that thread, mark the thread as resolved, or delete the thread.
Pin Message
Pinning a message will separate it from the other recent messages.
Tag Conversations
Within each chat, select the ... followed by Tag and then Add Tag if you would like to add a new one or use an existing one. Here you can see I have tagged the chat with Urgent Issue and this has been marked in Green
You can filter by a specific tag to only show those conversations.
Mark as "Do Not Disturb" or "Unread"
The final useful feature within each conversation is to Mark as Unread or Do Not Disturb. This is done through selecting the ... followed by either Mark as Unread or Do Not Disturb. If you select Do Not Disturb, you will not receive notifications regarding these messages until you remove the status.
