Summary
To get started, locate the Applicant who you would like to conduct your screening with. It is important to note that their contact type must be Applicant or Tenant to unlock the Tenant Screening tab. The Tenant Screening tab allows you to conduct your screening in LoftyWorks and take advantage of our integration with TransUnion or your own preferred vendor.
TransUnion Screening
Note: TransUnion has a hard cost of $38, which we pass along to our users. This cost includes Credit Report and Score, an Income Insight, Criminal Background Check and Eviction Related Proceeding Information. You can pass this cost along to your tenants.

Initiate a Screening Request

Once you press Confirm & Pay, an automatic email will send to your Tenant requesting authorization to begin the screening request.
Applicant Authorization
Your Applicant must accept the screening request and authorize TransUnion to release their consumer information to you. Once they accept, they will be taken to the information form. TransUnion uses the information provided on the form below to find the tenant and complete the background check.
Tenant Form
When the Tenant authorizes the request in the email, they will be taken to the Screening Request form.
View or Share Documents from a Completed Screening
Once TransUnion has completed the screening, the reports will be available to you directly in LoftyWorks. You can share the results with your landlord or move on to the Contract Creation stage.
Alternative Provider
If you are already utilizing another Screening Provider, you can still use LoftyWorks to upload your reference details, store any documents and share them with your Landlord.
Upload Documentation
If you have produced a Document to support your screening, or had one produced by your alternate provider, you can add this here. If you select the ... following by Upload Document, you can associate this with your reference.
Track Screening Request
Log the status of your screening by clicking the drop-down in the Status column. Screenings can only be edited or deleted if they are in the "Draft" status. Once your screening is complete, change the status and upload any relevant documents.
