This article will guide you through managing checklist folders, adding checklists, and setting tasks to help streamline your sales or lettings processes.
Summary
Checklist Templates Folders
Sales Progression/Lettings Application Checklists are organised into folders. The folders can be in the Company or Personal scope.
- Company folders contain checklists that are available to everyone in the company.
- Personal folders contain your own personal checklists that are not available to others.
Adding a Folder
Navigate to Settings > Progressions > Checklist Templates > Sales Progression/Lettings Application and Click + Add Folder at top right corner:
When adding a new folder, follow these steps:
Enter the folder name.
Select the folder type.
Choose the folder's scope.
Finally, click the blue Save button.
Managing a Folder
In addition to displaying the number of checklists within the folder, the last modified time, and the creator, folders also offer options to rename and delete.
To rename a folder, click the edit icon under the Actions column.

To delete a folder, click the delete icon under the Actions column.
Note: Deleting the folder will also remove any checklist templates contained within it.
Permissions mirror existing checklist permissions:
- Company Admins can manage all folders across the company.
- Personal folders are private to each user.
Individual Checklist Template
Adding a Checklist
To create a checklist, navigate to Settings > Checklist Templates > Sales Progression/Lettings Application and click on the folder name to enter the folder > + Add Checklist :
Checklist templates created under the Company folder are automatically assigned to the Company level (requires Company Admin/User or Company Templates permissions).
Checklist templates created under the Personal folder are automatically assigned to the Personal level.
The process for creating the templates are the same:
First, give your checklist template a name so that you can easily reference it later. The type of the checklist template is fixed and depends on the tab you selected on the previous page, either Sales Progressions or Lettings Application.
After clicking Save, you will be automatically redirected to the Edit Checklist Template page.
Managing a Checklist
Editing
On the Edit Checklist Template page, the stages you previously set up in the Sales Progression or Lettings Application list page will be automatically displayed.
Simply click on the + Add a Task button under a stage.
- Enter a name/description: When the task is created, it will be the actual title of the task.
- Assign To: Select the owner or other progression roles. These roles must be set up in the Progression Roles section under Company Settings.
- Due Date/No Due Date: If you want the due date on a specific day, select 0 Day(s) before/after. Custom date fields can also be added.
- Reminder: a call/text package is required for call or text reminders.
- Related Stage: Select the stage for the task, the default stage will be the one where you clicked Add a Task.
You can reorder tasks when editing the checklist template. Tasks will trigger in the order they were created when the progression/application reaches that stage.
After adding or adjusting tasks, click Save at the top right to complete the checklist. Any new stages added in progression management will automatically appear here.
Copying
By clicking the copy icon under the Copy column of a checklist, you can select a destination folder to copy the checklist to.
Deleting
By clicking the delete icon under the Deleting column of a checklist, you can delete it.
NOTE: Deleting this checklist template will not affect the progressions/applications that have already had this template applied to them.
