Introduction
LoftyWorks supports multiple different types of contacts in one system, including Vendors, Landlords, Lawyers, and more. Each contact type has its own feature availability. In this section, we will cover one of your Tenant-type leads: Applicants.

Every contact type in LoftyWorks has a Details, Documents, Statements, and Conversation History tab. Applicant-type contacts also gain a Lead Management tab and Tenant Screening tab. These tabs hold several key functions such as assigning a Leasing Agent, scheduling a showing, or using our integrated applicant questionnaire.
Adding an Applicant
If you are adding an Applicant for the first time, navigate to Contacts and click +Add Contacts. You can also use the quick-add plus sign near the search bar. If you are looking for more information on the different types of Contacts, please see Adding a Contact.
In order to access Lead Management, you have to ensure that you have a Contact in LoftyWorks with type "Applicant". This is denominated by the purple icon status signifying "Applicant".
Alternatively, if you look into the Contact, you can see their Type below their name or in the "Details" tab.
Note - If you are utilizing RightMove or our built-in Marketing Link, any inquiries that come through will automatically be created as Applicants.
Lead Management
There are several key features in the Lead Management tab. We will go through each of them in detail below.
1. Applicant Pipeline - This reflects where the Applicant is at in the leasing process.
2. Looking For - These are the details of the property the Applicant would like to live in. LoftyWorks has smart matching built in, so any details entered here will be used to match suggested properties to the applicant.
3. Qualify Lead - Clicking here will open a dialog box where you can disclose notes and details about the applicant.
4. Property Manager - here you can assign a Property Manager who will manage the aoplicant before they graduate to a Tenant.
5. Schedule Showing - Use this button to schedule a showing with your Applicant, a Property Manager, and the property they are touring. If your Outlook or Google calendars are integrated, showings will sync to the integrated calendar and an invite will be sent to the involved parties. 6. Share Applicant Questionnaire - Send an automated version of the application questionnaire to your Applicant.
From here, you can choose to either copy the URL and send this to your Applicant, or select Send to automatically email it to the email address attached to the Applicant.
7. Interested Properties - This section shows every Property that your Applicant has shown an interest in via monitoring their property interactions. If an Applicant has applied through RightMove, our internal marketing link, or has had a Viewing, they will appear on this list.
8. Suggested Properties - If a Property is listed on LoftyWorks as Vacant, and the criteria matches what your Applicant has asked for - we cross reference Bathrooms, Bedrooms and Budget - then they will display on this list. From here, you can share directly with your applicant or copy the hyperlink to share.
